2.What Information Do We Collect?

We collect information from you when you visit our service, register, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter,respond to a survey or fill out a form.

We also collect information from mobile devices for a better user experience, although these features are completely optional:

  • Location (GPS): Location data helps to create an accurate representation of your interests,and this can be used to bring more targeted and relevant ads to potential customers.
  • Phonebook (Contacts list): Your contacts list allows our service to be much more easy to use by the user,since accessing your contacts from the app saves tons of time.
  • Camera (Pictures): Granting camera permission allows the user to upload any picture straight from our service. You can safely deny camera permissions for our service.
  • Photo Gallery (Pictures): Granting photo gallery access allows the user to upload any picture from their photo gallery, you can safely deny photo gallery access for our service.

We may, however, use your phone number to contact you in order to provide customer service, alert you to any changes or updates to our services, or to communicate with you about your use of the MsgMee app.

The phone number you provide to us may be used by us to contact you with service-related announcements, such as changes to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy or to offer customer support. We may also use your phone number to send you promotional messages related to MsgMee app or our other services. You can opt-out of receiving promotional messages at any time by replying with the word “STOP” or by following the instructions in the message.

7.Could My Information Be Transferred To Other Countries?

MsgMee is based in Denmark, and we strive to comply with the data protection and privacy laws of the jurisdiction in which our service is provided. Yes, you can update or correct your information in the MsgMee. To do so, please log into your MsgMee account and go to the ‘Settings’ section. Here you can update or correct your name, phone number, email address and other personal information. We will make all reasonable efforts to update or correct your information in a timely manner. However, please note that some of your information may remain stored in our backup systems and archives, which are not always immediately updated or corrected.

10.Personnel

MsgMee is committed to protecting the privacy of our personnel. We collect and process personal data about our personnel only for legitimate business purposes. The data we collect includes, but is not limited to, name, address, telephone numbers, email addresses, job title, and other relevant information. 

We store and process the data for the purpose of administering payroll, providing benefits, and other related activities. We also use the data to communicate with our personnel and comply with applicable laws. We will not share any of our personnel’s personal data with any third parties without the prior consent of the individual, unless compelled to do so by law. In the unlikely event that MsgMee is ever sold or transferred, the new owners or operators of the service will be legally bound to maintain the same level of protection for your personal information that we have been providing. All of your personal information will remain subject to the same privacy policy, even if the ownership or control of MsgMee changes.

MsgMee uses a third-party service provider to process payments. When making a purchase, you will be asked to provide your payment details, such as your credit or debit card details. We do not store this information and it is sent directly to our payment provider.

All transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of our payment provider. We encourage you to review their privacy policy and terms of use prior to providing us with your payment details. We may also use other payment methods such as PayPal. When using PayPal, you will be directed to the PayPal website to enter your payment details. As with all payment methods, you should review the terms and conditions of PayPal prior to submitting your payment information.

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from such children. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personal information without their consent, he or she should contact us at support@msgmee.com We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

We encourage parents and guardians to spend time online with their children and to be familiar with the activities in which their children are engaged. We ask that parents and guardians become involved in their children’s online activities and use parental control or other web filtering technology to supervise their children’s access to the Internet.
